Taco Bell is Making Chicken Wings
Taco Bell is always one of those things that sounds like a good idea at 12:30 am after a night of inhaling Busch Lights like it's the prohibition era. The next morning? Go ahead and block off the entire day cause you ain't going anywhere. Instead, you've got an 8 hour date with your porcelain throne. But hey, I hope that Cheesy Gordita Crunch and Doritos Locos Tacos (not an ad) were worth it.
Now, in a shocking turn of events, Taco Bell is apparently trying to get in on the wings game. According to Foodbeast, a Taco Bell in Fullerton, California recently started serving Taco Bell chicken wings and the chain is testing expansion into more locations.
This announcement comes a few weeks after the chain announced that they would be "simplifying" their menu by removing some longtime favorites on August 12th. All things considered, 12 items are being removed from the Taco Bell menu so each restaurant can become “more efficient,” according to the company. This means saying adios to the following:
- The Grilled Steak Soft Taco
- 7-Layer Burrito (instant date with toilet)
- Nachos Supreme
- Spicy Potato Soft Taco
- Beefy Fritos Burrito®
- Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes (kids ages 5-10 are gonna be PISSED about this one)
- Loaded Grillers
Look - I can sit here and rag on Taco Bell for trying to make wings ALL DAY and you feel free to do the same. But we both know that as soon as these things roll out at your local Taco Bell, you're going to be in that drive-through ordering some. And so will I. Just make sure you block off the entire next day for that hot date.
